Anne Zimmerman, AIA, owner of AZ Architecture Studio, is a licensed architect in California with over 30 years of professional experience designing and managing major educational, public, institutional and commercial buildings, historical renovation projects, urban design and multi-family housing, as well as providing feasibility studies, interior design solutions and color marketing consulting.

As Principal in Charge, Ms. Zimmerman oversees all of AZ Architecture Studio's projects. Ms. Zimmerman was co-chair of the AIA/LA Urban Design Committee, president of the Association for Women in Architecture, and has been on the Development Committee of Venice Community Housing Corporation and the Board of the Design Professionals' Coalition, an organization dedicated to providing pro-bono services to communities in need.

Currently she serves on the Board of the Association for Women in Architecture Foundation and on the Editorial Board of ArcCA, the AIACC journal.
